By visiting the membership page and filling out the required form.
Is there a yearly fee to be a member of Expa?
The joining fee is 25€. After being accepted as a member, there is a refundable 50€ share payment.

Are Expa and the Digi & Game Center the same thing?
No, they aren’t.
Peliosuuskunta Expa is an umbrella organisation, a business co-operative which has several business activities underneath, of which one is running the operations of the Digi & Game center.
What is the IGDA?
The International Game Developers Association is a worldwide non-profit organisation that advocates for, organises and provides materials for game developers via their designated national and regional hubs, of which Expa is the hub for the Jyväskylä region.
Are the meet-ups open for all?
Unless stated otherwise or if the event is private, in accordance with our openness policy Expa events are open to all. We wish to broaden our community so people who are interested in games are more than welcome!
What’s in it for me if I become an Expa member?
The Expa membership is for people who wish to support the continued development of the game developer scene by the volunteers who run the co-operative. Members also enjoy access to services and events that run throughout the year and discounts with our partners that continue to grow. As the coop grows so will the benefits.
